Tempe Arizona Tempe office seeks a Warehouse Manager. The candidate's responsibilities include: Commitment to providing a safe work environment to the employees. Communicate with, and listen effectively to employees. Responsible for grievance resolution within department. Develop budgetary and departmental goals. Conduct employee evaluations. Implement cost-saving measures within departments. Coordinate programs, procedures and practices with warehouse crew. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local transportation, safety and environmental regulations. Analyze equipment lifecycle costs and work with Maintenance and corporate warehousing for the purchasing of appropriate equipment. Maintain and monitor the 5S-Lean Principle of warehousing using VPM, scorecard and dashboard. Ensure SOX compliance. Should preferably have four year degree or equivalent experience and 5-7 years of experience in Transportation/Warehouse supervision. Should be expert in use of Windows, Excel, Word, EXE, and associated applications. Should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Prior experience in collective bargaining environment dealing with grievance resolution required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Should have proven track record of cost reduction and increased productivity. Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations required. Prior experience in developing an operational budget / P & L required. Operations 5 - 7 Full-time 2010-11-02
